The Humble Beginnings of EvilUni Tours

I have been a lover of all things wine, craft beer, and whiskey for quite some time. During my life's travels, I’ve had opportunities to explore different wines, beers, and distillates and always wanted to share that love with others. Currently, I am a traveling Healthcare Professional, and that has afforded me the opportunity to try new things in new states. While I was working in Michigan about 5 years back, I got the chance to plan a couple of tours for visiting friends. I took them to many wineries, several breweries, a distillery, and even a meadery. I tried to cram in as much as I possibly could which was not easy. But a good time was had by all! And that made me feel great. I facilitated joy. People delighted in and bonded over good food and great drinks. I did that!

Over the years, I’d think back to those moments. On and off, I’d ask myself “Wouldn’t it be cool if I could plan tours like those full time? How can I make this a real thing and do something that truly excites me for a change?” Yes, I love helping people and making a difference working in healthcare, but THIS just feels different. But I never made time to chase that feeling. Chase my joy. Until now….
